Newfoundland 1904H 50 cents in Gem Brilliant Uncirculated condition, PCGS certified MS65. This outstanding coin has a few light marks commensurate with the Gem-level grade, but is well struck and has superb bright white mint luster, with a golden peripheral toning on the obverse. This is a true business strike issue tied with four others at this grade level. (There are 5 pieces graded MS68, however these are Specimen-type strikes with satiny surfaces, all from the Heaton Museum Hoard of the 1970s.) This coin is a beautiful and exceptional example of a King Edward VII 50 cents, and is outright rare in this condition. No issued business strikes are graded higher! $3,200. plus HST. (Shipping and handling fees may apply.) Sold.
